DoEACC Centre Imphal specializes in development of skill in the fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology through various long-term and short-term courses. The long-term courses except for the Diploma in Electronics Engineering (DEE) and Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (DCSE) are in the non-formal sector but leading to recognzed certificate/ diploma. Other short-term courses are aimed at giving profeciency and the hands-on skill in the key areas of technology. The main emphasis is on updating students on completion of their formal courses with the latest development in the fields of Electronics and Information Technology which are rapidly advancing all the time.

Due to inherent delays in updating syllabi of courses in formal academic institutions, very often the students after passing out from the colleges and the universities remedy the situation, Institutions like DoEACC Centre have tailor-made their courses to impart knowledge and working skill on the latest development in the field of Electronics and Information Technology.

The campus of DOEACC Centre, Imphal is located at Akampat about 5 kms in the south-east direction from the heart of the city. Spread over an area of more than 20 acres, it houses the main Institute Building consisting of Administrative wing, Lecture halls, Faculty Rooms, Computer Labs, Mechanical Workshop, PCB Lab. Servicing cell and other laboratories. Besides the main institute building the campus houses the staff quarters, students’ hostels, electrical substation and other host of essential facilities.
